As a licensed acupuncturist, Lori has practiced clinical acupuncture and eastern Asian medicine in Colorado since 1995. She is inspired by working with horses and instructing the Tallgrass equine acupressure courses.

  • Lori graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego Campus
  • Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine
  • Colorado State Certified Acupuncturist and 
  • Nationally Certified Acupuncturist
Lori is a Certified 4 level Equine Assisted Activities Facilitator and Certified Electro-Equiscope Technician. Additionally, she has extensive training in functional medicine, nutritional, herbal medicine, Taoist Feng Shui, and other eastern medicine modalities.

She is honored to be named the Tallgrass Lead Equine Instructor. She is offering  the comprehensive, hands-on Tallgrass curriculum. A graduate of Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute, she has completed over 300 hours of training and has worked directly with the founders of Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Resources, Nancy Zidonis and Amy Snow, since 2013.

Lori and Peter Perez own Crowning Touch Clinics Parker and CT at The Ranch / Coaching through Horses in Black Forest, CO. In addition to teaching the TG courses, they offer facilitation in equine activities for healthcare providers, therapists, equine professionals, horse owners, and equine enthusiasts. Their 501(c)(3), Medicine Meadow Healing Herd provides Forever Sanctuary Home for Adopted Rescued Equines with training and healing.

Over the years, Lori has successfully implemented the practice of traditional Eastern medicine for Western medicine practices. She has practiced in primary care medicine, pain management centers and integrative chiropractic offices. She has worked closely with allied health professionals and has served as operations manager of a large alternative health healing center.

Currently, Lori continues to study the healing arts with an emphasis in equine acupressure, Tui Na, and natural horsemanship.

Jill Golgosky, BS, CVT, CCRT

Tallgrass Instructor & Practitioner 

Jill is a Certified Small Animal and Equine Acupressure Practitioner through Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. She is a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Zoology. For twelve years Jill worked in the Aviculture department at Sea World in Ohio.

In 2008, she pursued a career in the veterinary field and became a registered veterinary technician and is currently employed at a specialty hospital in the internal medicine department. Jill is hopeful that in the future veterinary medicine will embrace both eastern and western medicine and feels when used in conjunction will provide unparalleled results.

Jill graduated from Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute in 2009 and began her teaching career as a certified assistant, helping with classes at Hocking College for 5 years. 

 

In June 2016 Jill completed course work at the University of Tennessee and is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). She has a thriving practice in Ohio working with both dogs and horses.


Becki Weeks, LAc, Canine Intern

Becki Weeks LAc, small animal practitioner
Becki Weeks is National Board (NCCAOM) certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture since 2012. She is a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado & Hawaii. She received her Master of Science from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is additonally trained in ABC facial acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Moxa, Cupping, E-Stim, Tui Na, and other Chinese modalities.
Born and raised in Maui, Becki returned to the island where she has been practicing for the last nine years. Becki’s background includes IVF & women’s health, healing trauma, pain, stress, emotions, migraines, and anxiety.  She has recently returned to Parker Colorado. 
Sam Intern Equine Acupressure
Sam Namenyi, LMT, Equine Intern

Sam is a licensed massage therapist with a thriving private practice in Parker, CO. She specializes in cranial sacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, cupping and integrative massage. 
As an Intern she will bring those skills to further her passion of connecting with horses! Sam has worked in Equine rescue and rehabilitation in Florida and Colorado.
She owns three horses and enjoys training in dressage and horsemanship.
Sam is actively studying the different hands-on modalities in equine bodywork. 
Her focus forward is to help horses and their humans lead a healthier and happier life! She’s thrilled to be an intern on our leadership program with Team Tallgrass. 

Meg Wall, Equine Intern
Meg Wall Acupressure intern
Meg Wall has been working with Horses for 40 years! She has owned and operated Equine facilities in Alaska and Oklahoma with expertise in training, equitation, riding instruction and management of boarding facilities. 
She is a trainer for Thorp Institute and Electro-Equiscope, instructing device owners in best practices for Equines and Humans. 
She owns and operates Royal Blue Gem Enterprises in Oklahoma with her husband and is in  private practice as an experienced Equiscope technician. 
Meg will be joining Team Tallgrass as an Intern Instructor when she completes her graduation requirements this fall. 

She is studying for NCBCAAM National Board Certification in Equine Acupressure and we appreciate her effort to include Tallgrass Animal Acupressure in her foundations in developing an integrated working practice of Acupressure and TCM combined with the Equiscope. Meg may be reached at:
